Guiding Principles
We are a people of God who actively encourage each other to live for Jesus and grow in our knowledge of Him.
We do Bible things Bible ways. Everything we do is “by the Book.” We adhere to Scriptural principles in all we do.
Worship is essential. Those leading in worship must personally enter into genuine worship themselves to lead others. Worship is not a performance but entering into God’s presence.
People are more important than things. Programs don’t love people, people love people. Programs draw folks in to experience authentic relationships.
Evangelism is a process not an event. We don’t “do witnessing” we are witnesses.
Every person is important to God and important to us and gifted for service. We are committed to putting every person in right relationship with others to express their unique giftedness in the church

- Meet Our Pastor
Pastor Hank Holley
Pastor Hank Holley is the devoted pastor of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Marietta, GA, bringing decades of ministry experience, leadership, and a heart for equipping others in their spiritual journeys. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Georgia State University and advanced training from Fuller Seminary, Pastor Holley has pursued both academic excellence and practical ministry development. His experience spans roles such as founding pastor, executive pastor, and minister of administration, serving congregations of various sizes and leading with wisdom and care.
Throughout his ministry, Pastor Holley has demonstrated a gift for leadership and vision. From coordinating church expansions to developing small group ministries and launching contemporary worship services, his dedication to engaging others in the work of the Kingdom is unwavering. Having directed large-scale financial campaigns and managed church operations with excellence, Pastor Holley’s background reflects a balance of strategic oversight and pastoral care. His experience organizing international crusades for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association further highlights a passion for evangelism and global ministry impact.
Known for his approachable and servant-hearted leadership style, Pastor Holley aims to empower others to discover and use their unique God-given gifts. His vision emphasizes creating a thriving community where believers are inspired to live out their faith and reach others with Christ’s love. Together with his wife, Barbara, and their two grown children, Pastor Holley remains steadfast in his commitment to honoring God through service and guiding his congregation toward maximum Kingdom impact.
